Capturing life's beauty one scene at a time

My daughter introduced me to oil painting 5 years ago as something to do in the wintertime. It has been an interesting journey filled with more ‘happy little accidents’ than successes.

 

I find that while you paint the outside world fades into the background and the freedom of imagination has a calming and peaceful effect on me. I hope that seeing the pieces creates that for you as well.
